Devon day 5 – Broomhill Sculpture Park

Tuesday dawned soft golds and pinks.

We walked all day on Monday and needed a quieter day, so – after a veggie breakfast at John’s cafe – we went to explore Broomshill Sculpture Park. A beautiful place, even without the scupltures.

The scuptures are in wood, metal, willow, ceramics and even upcycled plastic bottles.

This floating sculpture moved around the lake – a little creepily actually as it seemed to be following us! I loved its sail-like form and reflective surface.

I am a bit of a magpie and often find myself drawn to reflective surfaces.

My favourites though were these minature people.
