Hartland Point and Hartland Quay

After the gnomes we joined the OAPs at a local garden centre for a surprisingly good lunch and made our way to the coast. This wonderful avenue of trees was calling out for a photo.

Long winding narrow roads and we eventually reached Hartland Point. At first we felt a bit miffed at being charged £2 to get to the car park and coast path, but very quickly decided it was worth every penny! Wonderful views, despite the path being a wee bit scary for wimps like me. I only refused to walk along the bit with the sheer drop both sides of the path!

Conveniently there was a rather nice kiosk selling icecreams, smoothies and warm caramel apple pie! Just enough energy to head on to Hartland Quay…

  1. OK, that settles it. I have now read all your lovely holiday posts and have decided that I’m moving in with you, so that I can visit all these gorgeous places with you and Mark. Would you mind if a bring a rather nice Husband and a rather spoiled dog? We could bring some of the kale from our garden to help with the food supplies. We can also bring a botthe of wine (or several for that matter). Shall we say around the end of November?

I love comments - so do say hello!
